This is the bolstered version of the Round Armor bed we carry: the same 1680-denier ballistic nylon cover, with a raised rim all the way around the cushion. It suits the dog who sleeps curled up or likes a chin rest, and the heavy fabric stands up to the circling and digging that wears through a plush donut bed.

American Dog makes it in Denver, Colorado. The rim is filled with upcycled foam, the center cushion is a shredded memory foam blend in an inner liner, and the outer cover zips off for the wash.

  • Cover and base: 1680D ballistic nylon, non-skid strips underneath
  • Closure: hidden YKK zipper
  • Small: 25" across outside, 16" inside the rim
  • Medium: 32" outside, 21" inside
  • Large: 37" outside, 30" inside
  • XL: 45" outside, 36" inside
  • Colors: black, camel, charcoal, olive, midnight (navy), silver
  • Made in the USA by American Dog

Size by the inside measurement, since that's where your dog lies. American Dog doesn't publish the height. No fabric bed is chew-proof: if your dog starts on a seam, take the bed away, because the foam inside isn't safe to swallow. For the dog who likes a wall to lean on, this is the round bed we'd choose.

Sizing

Small: 25 in across outside, 16 in inside the rim.
Medium: 32 in outside, 21 in inside.
Large: 37 in outside, 30 in inside.
XL: 45 in outside, 36 in inside.

Measure your dog curled up asleep and choose an inside diameter at least that wide; if your dog likes to stretch out, size up.

Care

Unzip the cover and machine wash it; dry it on low heat. The inner liner is hand wash only.
Not chew-proof: if your dog chews into a seam, take the bed away. The foam inside isn't safe to swallow.
