Dottie is a farmyard classic done the Knottie way: white corduroy covered in black spots, a soft cream muzzle, two little cream horns, one fuzzy black ear, and a black tuft at the end of her tail. Black and white shows up well on a lawn or under the couch, which counts for a lot with a toy that gets carried from room to room. She joins our Morris Moose and Stuey Sock Monkey as a third face in the same family.

Expect what you'd expect from good plush: Dottie handles carrying, cuddling, and polite tug, but a dog who likes to unstuff toys will get there. Nobody should end up swallowing a squeaker or a mouthful of fill, so watch play and take her out of rotation when a seam splits. White corduroy shows dirt; a gentle wash brings her back. Small dogs, the Small; everyone else, the Large.
