A plain, good leather leash. Six feet of flat chestnut leather with a hand loop and solid brass hardware. Leather softens as you use it, and it's easier on your hands than thin nylon when a dog lunges after a squirrel.

It's made for Jeffers, a farm and pet supply company in Dothan, Alabama, that has been in business since 1975.
