For the dog who brings you sticks. The Skamp is a three-armed toy made of hollow, squishy Zogoflex, so it's light to throw, soft to catch, and lands at odd angles that keep the chase interesting. With three arms, your dog can grab one while you hold another for a short game of tug, keeping your hand a little farther from excited teeth. It floats, which makes it a good lake toy. Our Bumi is the stretchy tug toy; the Skamp is the compact one built for throwing.

  • Material: Zogoflex, made in the USA by West Paw in Bozeman, Montana
  • Size: about 8" across, one size
  • Colors: aqua, dandelion yellow, hot pink
  • Floats; dishwasher safe

Plenty of owners say theirs has lasted months, but it's hollow, and some strong chewers do bite through the ends. Use it for fetch and tug, put it away afterward rather than leaving it as a chew toy, and retire it once it splits. After a swim, rinse it and let it dry.
