Our Toppl is soft on purpose. The Tux is the treat toy for dogs who would chew a Toppl apart: a solid, three-lobed piece of West Paw's Zogoflex, much thicker than the Toppl, with a shallow pocket in the middle for a spread, wet food, or a broken-up biscuit. Because the pocket is shallow, flat-faced dogs like pugs and bulldogs can reach the good stuff too. Once it's licked clean, it bounces and floats, so it doubles as a fetch toy.

Small dry treats can fall right out of the wide opening, so it works best with something that sticks: smear a spread inside, or pack it with wet food and freeze it for a longer project. West Paw builds it for strong chewers, but no rubber toy is chew-proof. Watch your dog with it at first, pick a size they can't fit fully in their mouth, and take it away if pieces start coming off.
